Partnership Overview

Moria is a Shariah-compliant financial platform. It gives an organization everything needed to offer its members a digital wallet and a full suite of Islamic financial products — savings, group savings, financing, investment, protection, and charity — without building any of it in-house.

This section is written for prospective partners: the business and product teams evaluating whether to build on Moria, and the technical leads who will scope the work. It describes what each product does, how the money moves, and what you can shape for your brand — not how to call the API. Integration partners receive the full endpoint-level API reference during onboarding.

Moria supports three ways to partner, from lightest to deepest:

API / Embedded

Keep your own app and brand. Embed Moria’s wallet and products through a server-to-server API. Fastest to launch; you own the experience, Moria owns the financial rails.

White-label

Ship Moria’s web and mobile apps under your brand — your logo, colors, domain, and product mix. Your members never see the Moria name. Moria runs the platform behind it.

Custom

White-label plus bespoke products, flows, or integrations built for your organization on top of the same core rails.

The product capabilities in this section are available across all three models. What changes between them is how much you build yourself versus how much Moria hosts under your brand — see Configurability & White-label for the per-model breakdown.

Every product sits on top of one main balance per member — the wallet. Money enters by top-up, moves into products, and returns to the wallet or pays out to a bank. Each product below is documented with a plain-language flow, its Shariah basis, what your members can do, and what you can configure.

Each product page follows the same shape so you can compare them quickly:

  1. What it is — one line.
  2. Shariah basis — the underlying akad and why it is compliant.
  3. Who it is for — the member persona and your use-case.
  4. Key capabilities — what a member can do.
  5. Lifecycle — the states the product moves through.
  6. Flow — a diagram of how the money and the people move.
  7. What you can configure — the white-label and custom options.
  8. Limits — what the product does not do.
  9. Related products — dependencies and pairings.
  • One wallet per member — a single main balance that funds every product and receives every payout.
  • Shariah compliance by design — no interest (riba); every product maps to a recognized Islamic contract.
  • Bank-grade money handling — every movement is double-entry and reconciled; balances cannot go negative.
  • Security — transaction PIN and two-factor authentication guard money-out; personal data is encrypted at rest.
  • Multi-organization — one platform can host many organizations, each with isolated members and data.
